Literature Text

Sitting in my room looking at the phone
I know you'll never call me but i can't stand to be alone
Your face is in my mirror, your voice is in my head
You have stained me to the core with the words that you've said
I know you ment tomorrow but tommorow never came
I think i've finally worked you out, now im gunna stop playing this stupid game
I won't wait any longer for you to come back to me
I'm gunna let it go now, I'm gunna learn to be free

You told me forever
but you lied
You told me forever
Our love would never die
I suppose you think you're clever
leaving me undone
I'm the one who's clever
My freedom has been won

I know it dosn't matter, to you any more
That I sit and cry at night, alone on the kitchen floor
And I know your sons face you don't ever want to see
But one day he will want to know why you left me
When that day arrives I'll know what to say
I'll just tell our son that his father became gay
Don't bother coming back, you're not needed anymore
You may have won the fight but honey, I won the war
This is the last piece of writing i've done. i wrote this deviation a couple of weeks ago. It didn't begin as a song but it became one. If there is anyone out there with musical talent, feel free to use these lyrics but only on the condition that you let me hear the finished work and also that you give me credit.
I'm quite happy with this considering i had a long break in writing between this deviation and the last one..

It really works as a song, and the lyrics are very cool. "I'll just tell our son that his father became gay" is a funny line, nice work.
